12-hour shift, every day, 365 days, No Holidays, Un-Paid Cost-Effective Engineers Could Save Britain from Flooding!

Dear Friends and Students

What an Amazing Headline, right? Every entrepreneur would love to recruit such Engineers. This is not a hypothetical statement. This is a fact!! Yes, it is a fact. You should read this and appreciate these Civil Engineering Soldiers!

In West Devon District, England, the tiny stream has been blocked by 13 dams, creating pools and half-meter-wide canals! Another surprising thing, these dams remove pollutants from water. They filter harmful phosphates and reduce floodwater peaks. These 21st-Century Water Engineers are protecting towns from flooding. These dams in California have dated back to 1,000 years ago (treehugger.com). This number is astronomical! They are more sustainable and powerful than modern constructed dams, right?

These Engineers did not pass out of MIT or Oxford or IIT! They learned from their families. They learned from Nature. They learned from God!

Can you guess who are these Engineers? Yes, they are Beavers! They play an important role in establishing and maintaining wetlands. Beavers build dams across streams to create a pond where they can build a "beaver lodge" to live in. Beavers do not hibernate and remain active throughout the winter. Beavers build up underwater caches of branches and twigs to serve this purpose. The lodge has a sleeping and resting chamber within, accessed by any number of underwater entrances. (Sciencingsciencing.com).

You would be surprised to hear this. A lone beaver is capable of felling an 8-foot tree in 5 minutes (animals.mom.com). If you try to destroy the Beaver dam, they reconstruct it on the same day, working 12 hours’ day! Please do not experiment and check their patience!! They weigh 13-35 kg and has large teeth. They spend most of the time eating and building dams. Beavers also dig canals to bring water from the large bodies of water to their feeding area. (livescience.com).

Beavers are vegetarians, eat leaves, roots, and bark, etc. They are social and live in groups. They can swim for 24 hours!

Beavers, the Great Civil Dam Construction Engineers! Please, Love, Appreciate, and Protect the Nature!
