Dear Friends and Students
I still remember, it was
probably Year 2016, 4 members of First Year ECE students approached me with a
simple idea of road safety! This conversation continued and continues for 6
years now!
We started as a simple
college level product for road safety! Now exactly after 6 years, it got
converted to an industry ready product named K-Shield (a device that
prevents accidents by monitoring drivers and alerts if it detects any type of
danger on the road).
We started discussions in
our 10X10 room in 2016, after 6 years this team converted it to a start-up
named “Kshemin Labs”, raised multi-million INR, developed probably India’s
first and Aatmanirbharbharat Edge Computing Device for Road Safety.
After the initial college
demo version, I was having a proud moment when I was naming this baby product
as Kshemin- Safety in Sanskrit. I am happy see that these founders are
still continuing with the same name! Thank you so much Team!
K-Shield is powered by an AI-Engine
which constantly analyses the video feeds and location data and provides
real-time situations to the driver. Hyper Vision high-speed video
cameras are supporting this effort. It has the capability to handle 4G!
Thanks to semiconductors'
shortage, this team started working on various options and finally developed
their own Edge Computing Device! Now it is ready for industrial production!
This team is getting offers to develop similar edge computing devices for
various other usecases!! May be this becomes their main business!! Who knows!! Often
by-products becomes revenue generators!
After 6 years, the first 3
founders are still intact, taking this mission with commitment!!
Congratulations!! K Pradeep
Varma, CEO & Co-Founder, K Gyna Sai (Co-Founder and Dev), K Ratan Rohit
(Co-Founder and ML Engineer)
Cab Service, Institutional
Transport, Logistics Organizations and Personal Car Owners! Make your Road
Journeys Safer and Smarter using K-Shield!
Please reach out to CEO
Pradeep (pradeep@ksheminlabs.com)
for any enquiries or partnerships or support in any form!
Lack of real-time driver
assistance systems in vehicles is resulting in more than 78% of the accidents!
