Dear Friends and Students
The first recorded patent for an
industrial invention granted in 1421 in Florence to an architect and engineer
Filippo Brunelleschi. The patent gave him a three-year monopoly on the
manufacture of a barge with hoisting gear used to transport marble.
Now you are suspicious right
about the heading, “World’s First Patent Issued in 2021”. Are you thinking
there is a typo? No, first recorded patent issued in 1421 and world’s first
patent issued in 2021! How it is possible? Read this!
Exactly after 700 years, the
first Non-Human Patent granted to an AI Inventor named DABUS! DABUS means “device
for the autonomous bootstrapping of unified sentience”. It developed a food
container based on fractal geometry. University of Surrey's, Professor of Law
and Health Sciences, Ryan Abbott helped DABUS to file a patent! Patent granted
in South Africa.
Intellectual property law originally
designed for human being as an inventor. After many arguments, finally DABUS received
a patent!
The era of 4th Industrial
Revolution truly began! Now whole IP law gets impacted. Your new competitor is
no more physical inventor. The invisible inventor could be the real threat!
AI is bringing the
paradigm shift in marketing, recruitment, medicine, what not! It pervaded to
every field.
Dear Students,
All though, you are thinking that your classmate is your
competitor for your campus selection! Days are gone! Your AI friend could be
your next competitor!
Be Aware! Chose a field where AI cannot compete with you!!
Your
Well-wisher
