Dear Parents and Children

Wish you Happy New Year 2022!!

This was a puzzle I had for many years! Why does Fan rotate counter clockwise in India, whereas it rotates clockwise in the USA or any other cold country?

After many years, I came to know that in hot places or in summer conditions, the blades should turn counter clockwise to create a breeze effect by moving or circulating the air better during hot weather.

In the cold places or winter conditions, the blades should turn clockwise to circulate warm air. It should run at low speed so that it gently draws the room air up towards the ceiling and forces the warm air down and out towards the walls avoiding giving you the wind chill effect.

This science helps parents and children in many ways!

Thanks to globalization, the aspirations of the world are flowing flat. Children of a particular region emulating the children of another region. Every region and space has a certain set of opportunities and constraints. Food is different. Education is different. Games are different. Culture is different. Weather conditions are different. So as Aspirations. Parenting style should be different.

No two places cannot be mixed, nor opportunities.  The rhythm developed in a particular region cannot be copied to another place. We cannot develop parallels between 2 regions. No single place is great nor inferior. They have their own advantages and disadvantages. Except for cost and comfort, the rest of the life is the same between Antarctica to Australia.

When we miss this fundamental philosophy, we grossly miss the purpose. Of course, personally I need to learn a lot from this great example. No parent is perfect till they prove their kids settled and raised for 40 years!! It means the Parenting Process lasts for 40 years!! True. We raised it perfectly. What if they are misutilized after 20 years? It again bounces back to parents. Hence, No parent is successful till children teach their values to their children!!  Hence, all parents are successful upon the best raising of their grandchildren.

Similarly children should see the parents as ceiling fans. When you are in a heated condition, parents provide you the best cooling effect. When you are in cool condition, parents provide you with a warm environment in terms of inducing goals, competitiveness, act tough and purpose to their life. If children cannot understand this simple logic and misunderstand their parents, the air becomes reversed in every season!! Throughout your life, you will repent. You don’t have answers for your children. You end-up repenting in your last life!!

Wish this New Year Brings Conditioned Air for the Children and they appreciate Parents for their relentless rotations!!

Wish this New Year to teach the Parents on how to produce the best conditioned air for their children in every season possible!!

By the way, many ceiling fans have a switch that lets you change the direction of the blades so they rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise (some fan manufacturers label this “forward” and “reverse” respectively). So as Art of Parenting!! Parents are also becoming smart!!

World’s most expensive Pair of Shoes (Rs 123 Crores) is Unveiled. Would you replace & wear a single shoe with another color and make when you misplace one of your pair of shoes? New Year 2022 Message!!

Dear Friends and Students

Couple of years back, the world's most expensive shoes were launched in the UAE. The passion diamond shoes have a price tag of USD 17 million or 123 crores Indian rupees. They invited select 50 VIPs for the launch. Fascinating right? If you are given those shoes, I am sure all of us feel excited? Don’t you?

Now let us take a hypothetical situation. You owned those shoes. One of them (right foot shoe) got misplaced just before you were supposed to attend a high profile party. Will you replace & wear your right foot with a new brand and make? Will you go to the party with a different pair of shoes?

If I conduct an opinion “POLL”, I am sure “PLL” wipes out the “POLL”! Do you agree? We all are ready to disown the most expensive pair of shoes when a single shoe is lost! However, we become hypocritical, duplicitous, and two faced when it comes to following the Heart and performing an Action.

Our Heart and Our Action are like a pair of shoes. We all fail 99.9999% times, wearing this perfect shoe? Do you agree? Nobody is an exception to this rule unless one is spiritual.

“My Friendship, My dream job, my life goals, my incredible family, destination wedding, my dream girl/boy, my soulmate, my dream place”, and uncountable mismatches! Everywhere both shoes never match! We pretend. We create an artificial cover and make both shoes look like.

Covid-19 shattered the world. Both Rich and poor countries succumbed to this. No matter how rich you are, when you leave the body, nobody could come nearby. This reminds me of the story of a king and 4 wives.

Once upon a time, there lived a king who had four wives. The king got seriously ill and was on his deathbed. Afraid to venture into the afterlife alone, he asked his fourth wife whom he loved the most and bought her diamond, gold and elegant clothing — “Would you die with me? And go with me to the afterlife?” The fourth wife replied with a sorry saying she can’t do that and walked away.

He also loved his third wife and was very proud and would show her off to neighbouring kingdoms. He called on his third wife and asked the same question — “Would you accompany me to the afterlife”? The third wife replied that she loved her life too much and she cannot go with him and also that she would remarry on his death.

The second wife has always been there for him in the times of his need. So he asked her if she would accompany him in the afterlife. The second wife apologetically replied that she would not be able to help him this time but would arrange his funeral and would be there for his funeral.

A voice called out and said that — “I will leave with you and follow you wherever you go, even if it is to the afterlife”. The king looked and it was his first wife. And this was the wife he took care of the least. He felt embarrassed and said that I should have taken better care of you and given you more attention when I was alive. Our fourth wife is our body, our third wife is our possessions (Car, house, gold), the second wife is our friends and family, and our first wife represents our soul.

Covid-19 is reappearing as Covid-22 (Omicorn)! Three years passed! Life has not changed so much as our perspectives and material wishes. Nobody is an exception!

Wish Year 2022 removes “0” (Sunyam in our lives) and welcomes only 222 in our lives! The number 222 is also seen as a representation of the power of love, faith, and patience. Some people believe that the number 222 is a sign from the angels. This number is usually seen as a lucky number.

Wish you Happy New Year 2022!! Let’s discard “0”!

Driving Style Talks about our Behavior, More often the Responsibility! Beyond, Life Lessons too!! Read this Interesting Perspective!!

On Dec 2^nd, I attended a talk on the occasion of National Pollution Control Day. The key takeaway from the session was “Driving too slow or Driving too fast does not help much to the Environment as both release different types of pollutants”. When I try to understand this concept a little deeper, I realize that driving behavior has a significant role than whether we drive too slow or too fast.

Engines are optimally efficient when driving at a constant (‘cruising’) speed, not when accelerating or decelerating. In practical terms, it might work best between 40kmph to 60kmph. When someone is driving at 20kmph but little aggressive (quick acceleration and deceleration), then also it causes damage to the environment. When someone is going at 90 kmph or above, of course it is dangerous in multiple ways- more pollution and high risk! Definitely they are not environmentally conscious nor social conscious.

A car traveling at an average speed of 55kmph but frequently accelerating and decelerating will not be optimally efficient. Hence, driving style is a critical factor when assessing the impact on pollution.

When I am trying to relate this with earning style (money or name and fame), there is a great relationship. Overnight if we become rich or get a great name and fame, and a sudden drop leads to big damage to the individual psychology. What if it comes automatically? Do we accept or reject? The true answer lies in “Externally Accept while Internally Reject”! This is not an easy task! This is not a theoretical exercise! Knowing philosophy vs. Practicing Philosophy are quite different. It is a Science in an Art form! Many fail to practice!!

Last week we heard a huge praise to Parag Agarwal, IIT Bombay (CSE, IITJEE 77 rank) and PhD from Stanford, when he was taking up the CEO position of Twitter! However, it was less discussed, do we know during the same time there was another news about Vishal Garg, The Better.com CEO who fired 900 employees over a zoom call? How much pain Vishal might have gone through while announcing this?

I do aspire to become CEO but definitely I am not the right person to deliver! I don’t have the required qualities to deliver or discharge that role. I miserably failed in my start-up. Having said that, I give my best in some types of operations.

If someone understands their strengths and weaknesses and prepares themselves for a particular role, it is going to be the best driving for our life vehicle. It is going to be pollution free in our life.
